About the Steak
Cape Grim Beef is direct from the rich pastures of north-west Tasmania which is the perfect place to grow superior beef. Raised on rich pastures with nothing else added, Cape Grim Beef is hand-selected and rigorously graded, rewarding you with pure beef flavor – made by nature.
Tender and juicy imported beef from grass fed cattle, ethically reared on a diet that contains no animal by-products, no growth hormones and no antibiotics. Product arrives frozen.
Storage: Keep frozen
1: Brush each side of the steak with oil, season with salt and pepper
2: Place steak in pre heated pan (pan should be moderately hot)
3: Cook on one side until the first sign of moisture appears, Turn steak only once
4: Cook to preferred degree – test with tongs – rare is soft, medium feels springy and well done is very firm.
Ribe eye is a lovely cut of meat - this product was ok - maybe others are better
Product was ok - I think other products might be better
Australian meat is the best in the world - all their products are wonderful - I would but this again
I cooked for my boy friend and he enjoyed it so I will buy some more
